A Passion for Art and History

Updated: Mar 18, 2019

The Grace Dee May Museum is a legacy of one woman's passion for art and history. Throughout her lifetime, Audrey Marie Stein, was an ardent collector of fine art and antiques. Unlike many collectors, Audrey found beauty in a wide range of artistic styles and in objects of historic significance from cultures around the world. Her commitment to preserving and displaying her collections was the genesis of what is today the Grace Dee May Museum. Thanks to the vision of Audrey Marie Stein, Director Emeritus, untold treasures of art including Western and European bronze, Asian art including precious jade and ivory artifacts, priceless paintings, and a myriad of exquisite antiques and collectibles will be displayed within the galleries of the Grace Dee May Museum located at the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.
