Frederic Remington

1861-1909

Frederic Remington began his career as an illustrator – sharing his vision of the West in periodicals and journals.

 

As he matured as an artist, Remington turned to complex paintings which explored color and light and his expressive bronzes have become synonymous with the legends and lore of the American westward expansion.
