The collecting of Ephemera is a fascinating hobby and one which can be affordable as well as highly rewarding.

 

From the ancient Greek word "ephemeris" meaning short-lived or lasting for only one day, collecting and preserving items of ephemera usually includes items of paper or items which were only meant to have temporary use. Often times these are items like programs, pamphlets, posters, ticket stubs, and similar items which were often discarded after use.

However, who wouldn't want to view or own a ticket to a World Series game or a program from the Metropolitan Opera's opening night or, perhaps, a postcard from the Titanic or a business card from a famous tycoon?
