New $750,000 Masonic Temple. In the new Temple is housed several of the Masonic Blue Lodges, the Council of Royal and Select Masters, Tacoma Chapter No. 4 R.A.M, Ivanhoe Commandery No. 4 Knights Templar, several Eastern Star Chapters, the White Shrine of Jerusalem, the Amaranth, Zora Temple Daughters of the Nile, and Afifi Temple with its 3500 members. In addition, is one of the finest Theatres on the Pacific Coast with a seating capacity of over 2,000. Just below the Theatre is Fellowship Hall for large affairs, such as dancing and banquets with a seating capacity of 1,400.
